At Mai Furniture, we’re committed to providing a smooth, dependable shopping experience—from the moment you place your order to the day your new furniture arrives in your home. Please review our shipping, delivery, and return policies below.
Mai Furniture delivers to most locations within Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Delivery fees are based on distance, order size, and accessibility. For qualifying purchases over a specified amount, we may offer free or discounted delivery.
Customers may also choose in-store pickup at our showroom or warehouse, where available, at no additional cost.
Once your order is ready, our delivery team will contact you to arrange a convenient date and time window. Please ensure an adult (18 years or older) is present during delivery to sign for and inspect your items.
If you need to reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid additional delivery charges.
Our trained delivery professionals will bring your items into your home and place them in the room of your choice, provided the path is safe and accessible.
Upon delivery, please inspect all items carefully and note any visible damage or missing pieces on the delivery slip before signing. This helps us resolve issues quickly and effectively.
If you notice any visible damage or defect at the time of delivery, inform the delivery team immediately. If a defect becomes apparent after delivery, please notify our customer service team within 72 hours by email or phone and include photos of the issue.
Mai Furniture will arrange for repair, replacement, or exchange depending on availability. If the item cannot be replaced, a refund or store credit may be offered.
If delivery cannot be completed due to an incorrect address, lack of access, or absence at the scheduled time, a re-delivery fee may apply.
Orders cancelled or refused upon delivery may also be subject to restocking fees and deductions for delivery costs.
Custom, made-to-order, or special-request items are final sale and non-returnable. Estimated lead times will be provided at purchase, and Mai Furniture will notify you of any updates during production or transit.
All furniture and mattress sales are considered final once delivered or picked up. Returns or exchanges are not accepted for buyer’s remorse, size, colour, or fit issues once the product has been opened or used.
Exceptions may be made in limited cases (e.g., verified manufacturing defect or shipping error) at the sole discretion of Mai Furniture.
If a return is approved, the following conditions must be met:
Customer is responsible for return transportation costs, unless the issue was due to our error.
Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price. This fee and any applicable delivery or pickup charges will be deducted from the refund.
The following are not eligible for return or exchange:
If these items arrive damaged or defective, we will address them under our defect and warranty policy.
Refunds (for approved returns) will be issued to the original form of payment within 14 business days of inspection. Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable, except when an item is defective or delivered in error.
In some cases, store credit may be offered as an alternative to refund.
Manufacturer warranties vary by product line. Mai Furniture will assist with warranty claims or service requests when applicable.
Defective products within warranty will be repaired or replaced according to manufacturer guidelines. If unavailable, a comparable replacement or store credit may be offered.
